The crystallization of precious metals is a science in its own right, requiring a high degree of precision and experience. We offer our most beautiful precious metal crystal results for sale in the MetaMetals precious metals online store. However, not all precious metals can be used to produce crystals. Whether a precious metal crystal can be produced depends on the chemical properties of the metal. Osmium, for example, can be crystallized very easily. With other metals in the platinum group, however, this is not yet possible or not possible in the same quality due to their hardness and brittleness or simply due to the lack of a process. This includes, for example, the crystallization of rhodium, iridium, palladium and ruthenium. Our researchers are currently working on the crystallization of gold, silver and platinum. Osmium, on the other hand, can already be crystallized very well!
